January meeting

Due to the snowy weather, there were fewer members than usual  at our January meeting. Julie led the session showing members lots of techniques to use on tags.  The Seasons was the theme and the plan is to use these tags in layouts next month.  Members enjoyed doing embossing and using gilding flakes. 

 

 

Here is a selection of Julie's tags showing the embossing technique - this is very effective with a little distress ink applied over the embossing.

 

 

 

This tag was decorated with gilding flakes first and then overlaid with a piece of acetate stamped using StazOn ink.

 



 

Next month's meeting will take place on Saturday 27 February and will be a whole day meeting with the AGM in the morning followed by lunch and then an opportunity to work on layouts in the afternoon.
