It was a small (but select!) group who met for the March meeting where Julie shared a layout using a black and white photograph.
As usual Julie took us through the layout and particularly the technique for the inked panels which where stamped and then cut with a fancy border punch.
Do join us next month when Karen will be sharing a Mini Book with us.

John Bloodworth and The All Counties Craft Challenge
Shetland Scrapbookers were pleased to host a charity craft event at Tingwall Hall this last weekend. John Bloodworth, ex presenter and producer of Create and Craft TV, was visiting Shetland as part of his All Counties Craft Challenge to raise awareness and funds for the charity MIND. In addition everyone attending the workshops had a fun and relaxing day making a Mixed Media Clock.
It was lovely to see a mixture of Shetland Scrapbookers members and other crafters from all over Shetland.

There were fewer members than usual today, perhaps because it was the weekend before Up Helly Aa. However everyone took the opportunity to catch up on unfinished work and to use the club resources.
There was some discussion about the 2017 programme and a list of suggestions was drawn up which will be discussed at the AGM on 25 February. Further suggestions can be forwarded to committee members or put forward at the AGM. Members should note that this meeting will continue into the afternoon as lunch will be organised.
