April Meeting

Julie took the April meeting and showed members how to make a layout like a page in an old journal - everyone was very impressed with this technique which can be adapted for different themes.  Here Julie is busy working on her second layout!

These photos show the finished layout and the bookmark made from bias binding which was stamped with various images using distress inks.

Members' March Layouts

The theme for March was Spring and here are some of the layouts created by members - all very different interpretations of the same theme.

Margaret also made this 8x8 page to use up her scraps!

March Meeting

Numbers were down slightly today, due to this being the start of the school holidays.  Some members worked on this month's theme, a spring layout, while others took the opportunity to catch up on unfinished layouts.  Everyone enjoyed the coffee and homebakes!

February Meeting

There was a good turn out of members for the AGM.  The chair gave a report of the club's work during the year - this has been another successful year for Shetland Scrapbookers with some new members joining.  This year's programme was varied and provided opportunities to try out new techniques, dies and punches.  The club resources continue to be well used by members.

After the meeting, members worked on their own layouts for the rest of the session stopping at lunchtime for a most enjoyable Chinese take away.

Mini Books

Some members used the Cricut and the Bind It All at the January meeting to create mini books.

Sonia made a mini book to record a recent holiday to Australia.

Jo's book is about family history
